We recognise that our mental health and wellbeing is as important as our physical health, so we strive to create an environment which provides excellent support, understanding and intervention for our students to maintain a healthy mental health and wellbeing.

OTR is a mental health and social movement by and for young people aged 11-18 in North Somerset. Getting free wellbeing information support, access to groups and therapy couldn’t be easier.
Kooth is a free online service offering emotional and mental health support for children and young people, aged 11-25. Users can have a drop-in chat with a counsellor, therapist or book a one-to-one session. They have a monitored online forum and users can also record a journal.
Wellspring Counselling, we have counsellors trained to work with young people aged 11-18
Vine counselling, Vine counselling service is a charity based service in Congresbury offering affordable (donation based) professional counselling to young people and adults in the community who need help to cope with anxiety, stress, bereavement, depression, bullying, trauma, loneliness, abuse, family problems.
The Substance Advice Service is a specialist service for young people, families/carers and professionals, providing young people with support, information and advice about drugs, alcohol and tobacco and treatment interventions with those who are using substances who want to reduce or to stop their use.
BEAT is the UK’s leading charity supporting anyone affected by eating disorders or difficulties with food, weight and shape.
CHILDLINE is a 24-hour helpline for children and young people to discuss any issues they’re concerned about.
The Mix is the UK’s leading support service for young people. They are here to help you take on any challenge you’re facing – from mental health to money, from homelessness to finding a job, from break-ups to drugs. Talk to them via their online community, on social, through their free, confidential helpline or their counselling service.

Young carers service, a supportive service for young carers offering support, groups, trips, counselling all free of charge for young carers aged 5-25. Online support groups.
ChatHealth is a confidential text messaging support service which enables young people, aged 11-19, to text a School Nurse. The service is open from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday during term times and school holidays, excluding bank holidays. Students can contact the School Nurses about a range of issues including emotional health and wellbeing, relationships, smoking, stress and anxiety, self-esteem, bullying, drugs and alcohol and sexual health.
